I do many different types of photography, ranging from family portraits to candid kid shots to immortalizing the family pets, but I find that focusing my energy at a wedding brings me such bliss and satisfaction. I love everything about being there for "The Big Day". There is so much love and excitement in the air! Everyone looks their best! Friends and family gather from near and far to share special moments together, and nothing could be more rewarding to me as a photographer than to capture each detail and nuance of this special right of passage.
It is my goal to collect all of the intimate moments of your event and turn them into works of art for you. I want to create something that your family and friends will be wowed by as they recognize the emphasis of raw candid emotions which have been captured on film.
My style of shooting a wedding is more akin to creative photojournalism rather than "mom and dad you stand here" posing and trying to make something happen. In other words, I try to acquire real emotions and real feelings and real situations as they occur naturally. Anyone can take a good picture with a good camera, but not everyone can capture real live emotions as they happen. I will give direction when it is needed, but in a very unobtrusive way.
